1) Nominees should either work, own a business, run an organisation, a charity or CIC live, volunteer or be in education or training within the East Sussex, Brighton & Hove and West Sussex, so in fact Sussex as a whole. The only exception is for organisations or individuals based outside the area who work with, or provide a service to East Sussex, Brighton & Hove and West Sussex. 2) Multiple nominations can be made in diﬀerent categories. 3) You are welcome to enter or nominate, businesses, Charities, CIC’s, Organisations, Family members or Friends. 4) We need contact information for both nominator and nominees in order to get in touch regarding the Awards and to issue invitations to those who are included in the ﬁnal shortlist. This data will not be used for any other reason or shared with third parties. 5) The event management team will advise if any additional information is required. 6) There are no age limits for nominees. 7) Entries and Nominations may be scrutinised for accuracy. 8) Entries and Nominations must be made in writing, either through the link on the How to Enter Tab on the events web site or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or in writing to Carrot Events, Eastbourne and District Community Awards, Enterprise Shopping Centre, Station Parade Eastbourne BN21 1BD 9) All Entries and Nominations must be received by the deadline, August 3rd 2020 at midnight. 10) Shortlisted Finalists will be contacted by August 24th 2020.
1) The judges will select the ﬁnalists based on nominations along with any support information available. 2) Nominees may be placed into alternative categories at the judges’ discretion. 3) If any judge has a direct association with a nominee, they will not take part in the decision-making process for the relevant category. 4) The judges are listed on the judge’s page on the event web site.
1) All shortlisted ﬁnalists along with their work or business colleagues, family, friends, supporters and those who nominated them will be invited to attend the Awards Gala Presentation Evening at the Brighton Hilton Metropole Hotel on the 13th March 2020. 2) The children are very welcome. Parents and carers will know best whether their children will be happy to remain seated for the duration of the event. 3) Each listed ﬁnalist will receive 1 free ticket to attend the awards evening these tickets are sponsored by the awards 2020 sponsors, set to take place on the 11th June 2020 at the Brighton Hilton Metropole Hotel. Extra tickets for family, friends, colleagues and team members can be bought via the ticket purchase link on the events web site. 4) Extra Tickets for the awards evening can be purchased from Online Ticket Seller – info and link to the booking engine will be on the ticket’s navigation button on the top of the web site.
1) Welcome drinks start from at 6.45pm to 7.30pm. Then to tables. 2) In addition to the eighteen award presentations, there will be some wonderful entertainment as the audience take their seats and between presentations. 3) The hotel has Wheelchair access but please do let us know too by emailing us on email@example.com 4) If anyone in your party requires assistance in any way, please advise so we can ensure we meet your needs. Again, please do this via email to firstname.lastname@example.org 5) Photographs of the winners in each category will be emailed after the event free of charge. There will be an opportunity to take photographs with backdrops in lobby area before and after the awards event. 6) After the awards presentations are complete, there will be an After Party with disco and the bar will be open.
